OWENSBORO, Ky. — Isophene Coleman, 96, of Owensboro passed away Jan. 29, 2018, at Owensboro Center. She was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, to the late Harry and Rose Clay Coleman.
She was retired from Daviess County Hospital.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Whaylon, Leon, Donald Ray, Leonard; three sisters, Carmen Morton, Marrine Shaw, and Evelyn Coleman; and two grandsons, Stafford Griffin and Adrian Lewis.
Surviving are her two children, Gloria Lewis and Betty Griffin; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Elmwood Cemetery. Reverend Larry Lewis will officiate.
