HARTFORD, Ky. — Stephen Walter Phipps, 56, of Hartford, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at his home in Hartford. He was born in Hartford to Anna E. King Phipps and the late Walter Pendleton Phipps.
Stephen was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, bow hunting and music.
Survivors include his mother Anna Phipps; a sister, Karen (Marty) Vance; a brother, Charles Russell (Sharon) Phipps; his aunt, Katheryn (Wendell) Maddox; three nephews, two nieces, one great-niece, and six great-nephews.
Services are 3 p.m. Monday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam officiated by Bro. David Coleman. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
