WHITESVILLE, Ky. — Wanda Sue Wedding, 72, of Whitesville, died on Aug. 24, 2017, in Owensboro, Kentucky, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born on Aug. 24, 1945, in Owensboro, to the late Everett Embry and Elizabeth Dowell.
She was preceded in death by her foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. William R. Murray.
Survivors include her loving devoted husband of 50 years, Joseph (Jody) Wedding; her three children, Jenny Wedding Hardesty (David), of Whitesville, Amy Wedding Elliott (Chris), of Galveston, Texas, and Mark Wedding, of Tennessee; three grandchildren that loved her dearly, Ashley and Cedric Elliott, of Texas, and Presley Hardesty, of Whitesville; three sisters, Norma Bratcher, of Fordsville, Kentucky, Carolyn Ballance, and Doris Perkins, of Tennessee; a brother, Ellis Embry, of Maceo, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery, Whitesville. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Monday at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville.
