FORDSVILLE, Ky. — Quentin Gabriel Hendrick, 22, of Fordsville, passed away on Friday, Sept. 5, 2026, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, on April 11, 2004.
Quentin was a 2022 graduate of Hancock County High School and was a veteran of the United States Marines serving in Unit 3/6. His Marine brothers looked to him as their protector, saying he was always looking out for every one of us. Quentin loved making music and art, playing his bass guitar and making drawings. He loved his family, enjoyed the time spent with them. Quentin was often found in the gym, working out or sitting in a chair getting a tattoo. He also enjoyed his pets, his pup, Rylo, and snake, Sneaky Slyde.
Quentin is survived by his mother and father, Marcia and Pat Haynes; siblings, Ollie Myers, Jordan Myers, Daniel Haynes, Heath Haynes, and Hali Haynes; grandparents, Carol Woods, Miller Hendrick and Sandra Haynes; Aunt Cindy “Cici” Estes, Aunt Karla Young and Aunt Ashley Hendrick; cousins, Keenan Luttrell, Ezra Young, Jakob Young, Maddie Young and Skylar Young; several nieces and nephews; and his many Marine brothers, and friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport Chapel. Burial will follow at Newton Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with full Military Honors.
