A life beautifully lived, should be remembered. Billie was a bright light in many people’s lives. She was the ultimate homemaker. Memories of her can often recall family gatherings, open doors, and kindness to everyone. She dedicated her life to blessing her family with a tidy home and filling their bellies with the best home cooked meals.

Aside from her caring hospitality, she was an avid animal lover, who treated every animal with kindness, including her long companion and friend, Buttons. With such a deep love for reading, she has read countless books in the warmth of her own rocking chair. The sweetest soul with be missed today and every day, until we meet again in Heaven.

Being earthside for nearly a century, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She has a remarkable milestone of living through five generations.

She has always said her greatest blessings in life, were her 4 children, Vicki Witt (Gary), Tommie Whitten (Kevin), Scottie Desper (Marty) and Nikki Allen (Shaney), who also gave her a great number of beautiful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will miss her so dearly.

She will reunite in Heaven with her husband, Pat Sturgill…. And many other loved ones.
