BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Kathy Whitaker, 64, formerly of Central City, Kentucky, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on April 28, 2026. She was born in Greenville, Kentucky, on Dec. 9, 1961, to the late Jesse Elmer and Retha Nell Dwyer Davis.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Calvin Whitaker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bradley Wayne (Samantha) Neal and Kevin Michael (Cristy) Whitaker; grandchildren, Austin Neal, Kaitlyn Neal, Holdin Whitaker and Keegan Whitaker; and sisters, Margie Whitaker, Daisy Drake, and Teresa Shemwell.
Services will be held Saturday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Steven Case presiding. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 1, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Saturday from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery in Drakesboro, Kentucky.
