BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Ricky Howard Perry, 67, of Beaver Dam, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, with his family by his side at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville, Kentucky. He was born Jan. 14, 1959, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Emmet Perry and Lillie Louise Likens Perry.

Ricky was a retired truck driver and member of Daystar Church of God in Echols, Kentucky. His faith was a guiding light, inspiring those around him. He enjoyed fishing, making people laugh and spending time with his family and his dog, Gage. Ricky served in the Army National Guard.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Lee Perry, and brother-in-law, Ronnie Peech.

He was a devoted husband to Kim Ashby, of Beaver Dam; loving father to Amanda Mattingly (Greg), of Hartford, Kentucky, Christopher Perry (Selina), of Whitesville, Kentucky, and Cheyenne Gray (Christian), of Hartford; stepchildren, Nathan Autry, of Beaver Dam, and Megan Shields, of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Logan Mattingly (Emma), Shane Mattingly (Jessica), Lillian Swift (Dave), Kaden Swift (Chesalynn), Reese Perry and Lincoln Perry; step-grandsons, Seth Autry and Peyton Willis; great-grandchildren, Nakayah, Remington, Declan, Tate, Keltyn, Hudson, Gannon, Lawson and Judd; siblings, Emmett Perry (Anita), of Beaver Dam, Phillip Perry (Stacy), Beaver Dam, Steve Perry (Phyllis), of Hartford, Calvin Perry (Sherri), of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Regina Benson, of Beaver Dam, Sue Peech, of Hartford, Pat Perry (Kim), of Beaver Dam, Gordon Perry (Norma), of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Cindy Davis (Allen), of Beaver Dam; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Michael Decker officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday and 9 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
