MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Today, April 4, a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be working to replace signage on I-165 damaged during the Dec. 10, 2021 tornado.
Work will take place in the southbound lanes near the 49.2-mile marker, and motorists should anticipate lane restrictions throughout the day at that location.
Motorists should be alert for one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
