BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Joyce Marie Kassinger Autry, 76, of Beaver Dam, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at her home. She was born June 5, 1947, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to the late Lonnie Kassinger and Elizabeth “Betty” Durbin Kassinger.

Mrs. Autry retired from Wal-Mart where she served many residents of Ohio County as deli manager.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Wyman Bennett “Butch” Autry, on Aug. 25, 2012, and a brother, Mark Kassinger.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three sons, Scott (Misty) Leach, of Cromwell, Kentucky, Richard Autry, of Beaver Dam, and Kevin (Becky) Leach, of Ashland, Kentucky; her daughter-in-law, Robbie Lynn, of Fordsville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Toshia (Shane) Embry, Blake (Tori) Cannon, Joey (Callie) Autry, Sarah (Joey) Blacklock, Hannah (Shane) Doss, and Garett Leach; several great-grandchildren and eight siblings, Kent (Kay) Kassinger, of Hartford, Kentucky, Nancy Pierce, of Hartford, Lonnie Kassinger, of Hartford, Dennie Kassinger, of Rockport, Kentucky, Bruce Kassinger, of Hartford, Harold Kassinger, of Livermore, Kentucky, Jeff Kassinger, of Hartford, and Lisa (Butch) Pinson, of Beaver Dam.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Mitchell Ash officiating. Friends may visit with Mrs. Autry’s family from 12 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
