GRAND RIVERS, Ky. — Betty Lou Hunt, 84, of Grand Rivers, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at 9:50 p.m. at Landmark of Kuttawa Nursing Home in Kuttawa, Kentucky. Mrs. Hunt was born Jan. 13, 1938, in Belton, Kentucky.
She had many hobbies. She loved to crochet, quilt, sew, cook, garden, work crossword puzzles, play board games, and cards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Newman Hunt; two brothers, Jesrue Cartwright, and Jack Cartwright; two sisters, Dorothy Garrett, and Sue Hornick; and parents, Jesse Monroe Cartwright, and Flora Myrtle Morphew Cartwright.
She is survived by her three sons, Terry Hunt, of Grand Rivers, Dale (Lisa) Hunt, of Hartford, Kentucky, and Ricky Hunt, of Greenville, Kentucky; one daughter, Tammy (Jason) Armour, of Kuttawa, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Lauren Hunt, Taylor Allen, Morgan Hunt, and Kortney Hunt-Sigers; one great-grandchild, Zoey Rae Allen; and one sister, Lavelle Cartwright, of Newburgh, Indiana.
Funeral services are Saturday, Dec. 3, at 12 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Roy Day officiating. Burial in Mud River Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
