HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — Juanita Shocklee Schroader, 75, of Hopkinsville, formerly of Hartford, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, in Hopkinsville. She was born Oct. 6, 1945, in Whitesville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Samuel G. and Anna Catherine Lloyd Shocklee.
Nita enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia, coloring, and holding her baby dolls. She attended Hartford Apostolic Church.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Dale, L.G., and Lyndal Shocklee.
She is survived by her sisters, Joyce Schroader (Kenneth), Reba Crump (Jeff), and Martha Patterson (Don), several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Miller Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Kentucky. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
