CROMWELL, Ky. — Thurman Hartsel Ware, 77, of Cromwell, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born September 5, 1942, in Webster Springs, West Virginia to the late Berlin L. and Jettie Pearl Ware. Thurman was a retired coal miner and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his three siblings, Elmer, Frances, and Waverly.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 56 years, Suzanne E. Ware, of Cromwell; two daughters, Sonia L. Ware, of Akron, Ohio and Monica A. Ware, of Greenville, Indiana; six grandchildren, James Swisher, David Swisher, Jessica Hardin, Anthony Swisher, Jared Ringkor, and Samantha Swisher; and 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janie Putman, of Stow, Ohio, and Alice Gregg, of Mogadore, Ohio.

Per Thurman’s wishes there will be no services. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky has been entrusted with his care.
