OC Water District changes office hours temporarily

In Local, News by OC Monitor Staff

HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Water District will change its office hours to 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., effective Monday, March 30, 2020.

This change is only temporary and as soon as doors are allowed to open and the office is able to run at full capacity, the OCWD will revert back to its normal business hours.

“We apologize for any inconvenience, but as stated before, we only want the best for our customers as well as the employees of Ohio County Water.”

The change in office hours is due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The OCWD had previously announced it would only unlock doors for new customers or those who needed a meter unlocked. Current customers were asked to place water bill payments in the dropbox outside the office. The OCWD also suspended all disconnections for non-payment, as well as late payment fees, for at least the next 30 days.
