HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Water District will suspend all disconnections for non-payment, as well as late payment fees, for at least the next 30 days. This is by order of the Public Service Commission which issued the order yesterday, March 16, 2020.
The order was established to provide relief for customers during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Previously, the OCWD announced its office would only be open to customers who need to start a new service or have a meter unlocked.
There is a dropbox in front of the office that will be checked daily, as well as having the OCWD’s on-line payment option.
The OCWD will be available for any calls or questions from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
