HARTFORD, Ky. — Leslie “Todd” Morehead, 47, passed away in his home on Oct. 31, 2018. He was born to the late Thomas “Tommy” R. Morehead and Leslie “Karen” Layton Morehead, of Utica, Kentucky.
Todd enjoyed his family, fishing, motorcycles, and cooking. He was a long time heavy equipment operator, in his words he would say “the best” heavy equipment operator. A lot of people would have to agree with him.
He enjoyed teaching his children how to operate and he was very proud of that. We will miss his sense of humor as he could light up any room with his personality. He was always waiting for the perfect opportunity to crack a joke.
He will be greatly missed and we will forever cherish our sweet memories that we had with him.

Todd is preceded in death by his parents Tommy and Karen, and a sister, Kim Ramsey.
Todd is survived by his daughter, Leslie (Trevor) Fuqua, of Fordsville, Kentucky; his son, Sonnie (Justice) Morehead, of Central City, Kentucky; sisters, Kelly (Danny) Hardesty, of Hartford, Sharon (Robert) Brooks, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Sheri Sommers, of McHenry, Kentucky; brothers, Tom Morehead, of Utica, and Joshua Morehead; several nieces and nephews; and two grandsons, Wesley Morehead and Axton Fuqua.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 2, at Hope Wesleyan Church in Hartford from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
