CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Anna Sue Hoover, 84, of Centertown, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018. Anna Sue Davenport was born June 11, 1934, in Livermore, Kentucky, to the late Charles and Sarah Williams Davenport and married to Medley Brown Hoover Feb. 5, 1955.

She was a homemaker and lifelong member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Anna Sue loved quilting, making doll clothes, flower gardening and babysitting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, J.C. Davenport, and a sister, Mable Jean Davenport Luck.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Medley Hoover; a son, Douglas Ray Hoover and wife, Melinda, of Centertown; a daughter, Shelia Kirtley and husband, Mark Hindman, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Bradley Kirtley and wife, Allee, of Calhoun, Kentucky, and Zach Hoover and wife, Laura, of Centertown; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jesse Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Anna Sue’s family from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

The Anna Sue Hoover family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Pleasant Hill, Cemetery Fund; C/O Julie King; 14758 Highway 136 East; Livermore, Kentucky 42352. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
