OWENSBORO, Ky. — Helen M. Jamieson, 95, of Owensboro, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018. She was born Feb. 15, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Fred Hoffman and Bessie Mae Hancock Hoffman. Ms.
Jamieson retired after over 30 years of service to Agar Food Products in Chicago. She was also a member of Victor Baptist Church in Alsip, Illinois.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, and a grandson, John Morrison.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a devoted son, Ray (Beverly) Morrison, of Owensboro; two grandsons, James (Wendy) Morrison, of Vero Beach, Florida, and Ray (Elaine) Morrison, of Hartford, Kentucky; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Sunnydale Cemetery in Hartford with Rev. Ed Mitchell officiating. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
