OWENSBORO, Ky. — Charles C. Dennis, 61, of Owensboro, died Oct. 1, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on April 21, 1956, in Owensboro to the late Columbus C. and Irene Harrison Dennis.
He had been employed as a driver for Yellow Cab Company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Shirley Dennis Keller, Jessie Lee Dennis, Willie Dennis, and Russell Wayne Dennis.
He was survived by his companion, Margie Sutton; daughter, Billie Jean DeLaney, of Tennessee; four grandchildren; a brother, Robert Dennis, of Utica, Kentucky; and two sisters, Christine Evans (James), of Hartford, Kentucky, and Rebecca Daugherty (William), of Owensboro.
Services are 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
