HARTFORD, Ky. — Winter Shawnette Fendel, 19, of Hartford, passed away on Monday, Aug. 28, 2017. She was born on April 5, 1998, in Madisonville, Kentucky, to James T. Fendel and Angela Baker Rone.
Winter was a 2016 graduate of Ohio County High School and had recently completed her first year at Campbellsville University. She worked as a cashier at the drive through at K.F.C.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Fendel, and her great-uncle, Joe Moss.
Survivors include her parents, James T. Fendel, of Hartford, and Angela (Bub) Rone, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; three sisters, Summer Fendel Reed, of Greenville, Kentucky, Autumn Nicole Fendel, of Hartford, and Sarah Monroe, of Owensboro, Kentucky; one brother, Aaron William Monroe, of Olaton, Kentucky; maternal grandparents, Butch and Mable Baker, of Beaver Dam; paternal grandmother, Janice Fendel, of Olaton; uncles and aunts, Gary R. Fendel, Ernest Hunt, Freddy Baker, Jeremy and Lisa Fendel Cobb, and Shawntee Baker; a very special great-aunt, Linda Moss, who was very dear to her heart; several loving cousins, aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and a host of friends.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
