UTICA, Ky. — Daniel Blake LaRoche, 26, of Utica, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Ohio County Hospital from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. He was born April 27, 1991, in Daviess County, Ky.

Blake was a foreman with Hedges Lawn Service and was a U. S. Air Force veteran and of the Baptist faith.

Blake loved riding motorcycles, playing various sports, and hunting and fishing. He was the type of person that never met a stranger, was always willing to help anyone, and had a million dollar smile.

Blake was preceded in death by a grandfather, Major Douglas C. Fulcher, in 2010; a grandmother, Darlene LaRoche, in 2011; all his great-grandparents, including Myrl Howard; and his best friend, Andrew “Wisconsin” Kane.

Surviving are his parents, Daniel and Tara LaRoche, of Middletown, Ohio, and Kimberly LaRoche and Jeff Williams, of Utica; grandmother, Nancy Fulcher, of Utica; grandfather, Delmer LaRoche, of Philpot, Ky.; brothers, Drew (Brooklyn) Aud, of Owensboro, Ky., Josh (Ashley) Williams, of Owensboro, and Nick Butler, of Middletown; sisters, Breeana (Zack) Goodman, of Utica, Kiera (Nick) Goodman, of Owensboro, Jaclyn Williams, of Owensboro, Tiffany (Alonso) Taylor, of Middletown, and Skylar Butler, of Middletown; his unborn child, Andrew Reighn; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog, Peanut.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 2, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and after 12 noon Friday at the funeral home.
