HARTFORD, Ky. — Mildred Martine Calloway Dunning, 80, of Hartford, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, at Signature Healthcare in Hartford. She was born Feb. 13, 1937, in Hartford to the late James William and Goldie Elizabeth Watson Calloway.
Mildred was a retired CMT for Beaver Dam Healthcare and she was of Holiness faith. Mildred also enjoyed fishing and reading.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby Phelps and Sharon Willoughby, and two brothers, Vernon Calloway and Charlie Calloway.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Billy Roy Dunning, of Hartford; one son, Bryan David (Tanya) Dunning, of Greenville, Ind.; six brothers, James Calloway, Larry Calloway, Rickey Calloway, Mathew Calloway, and Jerry Wayne Calloway, all of Hartford, and Carl Stephen Calloway, of Owensboro, Ky.; and three sisters, Mary Blair and Vickie Hoheimer, both of Hartford, and George Etta James, of Paducah, Ky. Mrs. Mildred was blessed with two grandchildren, Joshua (Shelby) and Beth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Friends are welcome to visit with the family of Mildred Dunning from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
