OWENSBORO, Ky. — Guy Richard Stewart, 74, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017. He was born Nov. 18, 1942, in Grayson County, Ky., to the late Moses Ruie and Rebecca Cook Stewart.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and being a participant of the “Liars Club” at the Cadillac.
He also is preceded in death by three brothers, Irvin Ray Stewart, Charles Moses Stewart, and James Earl Stewart; seven sisters, Marie Douglas, Louise Perry, Mary Lee Melcher, Mattie Jean Henry, Beatrice McGuffin, Joan Campbell and Jeneva Stewart.
Surviving are two daughters, Andrea Kirk, of Beaver Dam, Ky., Sheila (Parvin) Phillips, of Owensboro, Ky.; his companion, Judy Parker, of Owensboro; six grandchildren, Matt Kirk, Josh Kirk, Paige Kirk, Bry Kirk, Hilary Patterson and Roger Phillips; two great-grandchildren, Olivia Grace Patterson and Jah Phillips; and one brother, George Sapp Stewart.
A Life Celebration will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory.
