OWENSBORO, Ky. — Nina Faye Peak-Hayden, 35, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born Nov. 5, 1981, in Daviess County, Ky., to Roger D. Peak and Mary Ann Leucht.

Nina always looked out for other people, having their back. That’s why she was so loved.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Chester Miller.

Aside from her parents, she is survived by her husband, Christopher Hayden; two sons, Caleob and Carson Peak, of Owensboro; a stepdaughter, Kaysia Hayden; five stepsons, Keyon Hayden, Kameron Hayden, Kortlan Hayden, Tavarian Kirby, and Zamarius Kirby; stepfather, Bob Leucht, of Owensboro; stepmother, Krystal Peak, of Ohio County, Ky.; her brother, Roger Dale Peak Jr., of Ohio County; grandmothers, Ella Brown and Mildred Miller, both of Owensboro; mother-in-law, Phyliss Cain; and sister-in-law, Tanisha Hayden.

A Gathering of Friends will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory.
