Carl B. Arvin, 56, of Beaver Dam, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at Ohio County Hospital.
He was born in Benton, Ky., and had been a prison guard.
Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Mitchell.
Services will be held at a later date. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is in charge of arrangements.
