RebaBaizeReba Louise Baize, 90, of Cromwell, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab. She was born on April 28, 1924, in Cromwell, Ky., to the late Marvin and Martha Hatler Hocker.

She was a member of East Fairview General Baptist Church near Horse Branch and she was retired from Cowden’s Manufacturing.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Kenneth Baize, who passed away July 6, 1991; her grandson, Robert Daugherty and her great-grandson, Jakob Baize.

Survivors include four sons, Finis “Bud” Baize and wife, Nennie, of Centertown, Tommy Baize and wife, Phyllis, of Cromwell, Orville Baize and wife, Sandy, of Beaver Dam and Garnett Baize and wife, Sue, of Beaver Dam; one daughter, Lucille Daugherty and husband, Darrell, of Horse Branch, 12 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 27, at East Fairview General Baptist Church in Horse Branch with Bro. Ryan Himes and Rev. Carl Decker Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Horse Branch. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at East Fairview General Baptist Church.
