Jerry W. Howell, 72, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Ind. He was a Broker for Crestline Realty Company, owner of Howell Transportation and attended Willey’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Denita Howell; sisters, Dimple Howell, Ramona Goff and Marlene Muffet; brother, Roy Howell.
Jerry is survived by daughters, Becky (Alan) McCoy, Charlestown, Ind., Cara DiCarlo (Don Isner), Georgetown, Ky., Kristy (Bob) McEwen, Clarksville, Ind.; brothers, Jim (Dottie) Howell, Nicholasville, Ky., Tom (Brenda) Howell, Beaver Dam, Ky., Ron (Marie) Howell, Spain, Donnie (Jean) Howell, Olaton, Ky.; grandchildren, Anthony (Megan) DiCarlo, Nicholas DiCarlo, Bailey McEwen, Benett McEwen, Susan McCoy and Amelia McCoy and special friend and companion, Lynn Rein.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Forrest Grove Cemetery in Borden. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and anytime after 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
