Anna “Vonell” Raley, 76, of Shepherdsville, formerly of Ohio County, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born July 25, 1937, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Homer and Ethel Baize King.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Beaver Dam and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky H. Raley and Terry D. Raley.
Survivors include her husband, Harold W. “Darlese” Raley of Shepherdsville; two daughters, Vickie (Larry) Warren of Shepherdsville and Stephanie Clark of Louisville; one daughter-in-law, Sherry Raley of Louisville, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Vandell Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cromwell. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
