Doris R. Petty, 89, originally from Des Moines,N.M., passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2013.
She was a Doctor of Chiropractic in Eminence, Ky., for over 43 years and a member of the United Methodist Church there.
She is survived by her daughter Alice Petty and son-in-law Corry Watts of Horse Branch, Ky.; a step-daughter Pam Minton, Louisville, Ky., and a step-son James Petty, Seville, Spain, and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was buried on their farm in a private ceremony. A memorial will be held in Eminence on May 25 at 2 p.m.
Memorial contributions made in her name to any charity would honor her memory and her wishes.
