HARTFORD, Ky. – William “Butch” Leslie Culbertson, 76, of Hartford, passed away at his home on Oct. 25, 2026, under the care of Hospice of Ohio County. He was born in McHenry, Kentucky, on March 14, 1950, to the late Willie and Effie Austin Culbertson.
Butch served in the United States Marine Corp. He was an owner/operator of two semi-trucks. He retired after 37 years of driving for RTI.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Culbertson; grandson, Christopher Arriaga; and granddaughter, Heather Michele Pepper.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Shelli Culbertson, Kelli Pepper (James), Michael Culbertson, and Alexandria Smith (Chase); grandchildren, Ashley Reagan, Brandon and Matthew Arriaga, Makayla Pepper, Haley Culbertson, Haven Blankenship, and Cyrus Smith; great-grandchildren, McKinley and Jazmyne.
Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.
