DUNDEE, Ky. — Alice Faye Vance Boswell, 91, of Dundee, passed away Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, at her home with her family by her side. She was born Friday, Aug. 2, 1935, in Concord Community in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Raymond and Pinie Ford Vance.
Mrs. Boswell was a homemaker and member of Concord Baptist Church.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David “Arnold” Boswell; great granddaughter; Willa Grace Moore; half-bother, Leo Vance; half-sister, Maudine Vance Huff; and sister, Naomi Vance Lindsey.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Patricia Joan (Charles T.) Conkwright, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Sarah Ellen Conkwright and John Wilson Conkwright; four great-grandchildren, Gavin Moore, Mercedes Regan Moore (Anoulack Kai Souksanh), Kyleigh Ann Hillard and Zoey Howard; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Dr. Glenn Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
