BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Michael Wilson Barker, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Oct. 12, 2026, at home with his family and beloved dog, Festus, at his side.
Mike was a member of Longview General Baptist Church but was currently attending Liberty United Methodist Church.
Mike was preceded in death by parents Woodrow “Cabbage” and Jackie Barker; siblings, Ron Barker, Lonna Orr, Greg Barker, and Randy Barker; and brothers-in-law, Charles “Chig”, Rick and Greg Nance.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 35 years, Lillian Nance Barker; daughter, Amanda Burden; bonus son, Justin Geary; brothers-in-law, Johnny (Sheila) Nance and Ralph (Sherri) Nance; sisters-in-law, Rhonda (Cary) Graham, Donna Nance, Nancy Nance, and Joyce Barker; as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
To honor Mike’s wishes there will be no public service.
