**UPDATE** BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Kentucky State Police is reporting the suspect wanted in connection with this afternoon’s trooper-involved shooting has been taken into custody by the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Sadly, Trooper Hayden Phillips was killed in today’s shooting. He was assigned to KSP Post 3 in Bowling Green.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Kentucky State Police are searching for an armed and dangerous suspect wanted in connection with a trooper-involved shooting in Warren County. The shooting happened on Interstate 65 near the 38-mile marker.
According to KSP Post 3 in Warren County, the KSP is searching for a bluish gray Honda Civic with an Alabama temporary tag number of TN018596. The vehicle was last seen traveling north on I-65 near the 75 mile marker.
