Heat Advisory issued for Tuesday for Ohio County

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Heat Advisory for Ohio County. The Heat Advisory will go into effect at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, and will expire at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15.

According to the NWS, heat index values up to 105 are expected. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
