Heat Advisory issued for Ohio County for Wednesday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Heat Advisory for Ohio County. The Heat Advisory goes into effect at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, and will expire at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9.

According to the NWS, heat index values up to 106 are expected in portions of south central Indiana and north central, northwest, and south central Kentucky. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
