LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Weather Service in Louisville has downgraded an Extreme Heat Warning to a Heat Advisory for Saturday in Ohio County and much of the state. The Heat Advisory will be in effect until 8 p.m. Saturday, July 4.
According to the NWS, heat index values of 98-105 are expected throughout portions of south-central Indiana and central Kentucky. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
