McHENRY, Ky. — Charles Alfred “Chuck” Allen Jr., 67 of McHenry, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born on Nov. 17, 1958, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the late Charles Alfred Allen Sr. and Yvonne Tinsley Allen.
Chuck was a member of Manuel Baptist Temple in McHenry. He loved studying the Bible, watching old westerns and crime dramas, and taking his beloved dog for rides.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Stephen L. Allen.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Dana (Misty) Geary, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; his sister, Sherrie (Bill) Haynes, of Fayetteville, North Carolina; five grandchildren, R.J. Moore, Samantha (Brian) O’Neil, Jonathan Moore, Heaven Moore, and Brian Frame; and two great-grandchildren, Reese O’Neil and Brinslee O’Neil.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Chuck’s dear friends, Pastor Tim and Linda Smith, Ricky Hohimer, and Roy, for their friendship, support, and kindness throughout the years.
Private family services will be held at a later date. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Allen.
