**UPDATE** HARTFORD, Ky. (5-18-26) — For those wishing to help the Ohio County Honor Guard place flags on veterans’ graves this Saturday, they need two-person teams, one with a poker to make a hole in the ground, and the other to carry and plant flags.
HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Honor Guard will be placing flags on veterans’ graves at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 23.
A member of the Honor Guard is scheduled to be at Sunnyside Cemetery, Oakwood Cemetery, Sunnydale Cemetery, and Rosine Cemetery. The Honor Guard is looking for help with this task.

The flags will be taken down after Memorial Day. Help will be needed for that as well.
