FRANKFORT, Ky. — This year’s Governor’s Derby Exhibit, “Long Shot,” is now on display at the Paul Sawyier Public Library in Frankfort, kicking off a showcase of Kentucky artists inspired by the spirit and tradition of the Derby season.

Part of the Governor’s Derby Celebration activities, the exhibit will be on display through July 5, and features work from 41 artists representing communities across the commonwealth. Artists were invited to explore the idea of the long shot: risk, resilience, and the dreamers who remind us that anything can happen between the gate and the finish line.
