Choosing a representative is about trust, and I believe that trust is earned through consistent action and presence. I am running for 5th District Magistrate because I am deeply invested in the success of Ohio County, not just as a candidate, but as a neighbor, a mother, and a volunteer. My life has been shaped by the values of a military upbringing, and those lessons of service and resilience have guided every leadership role I’ve taken on, from chairing the Beaver Dam Women’s Club to serving on the SBDM council at the high school.
I am not asking for your vote based on what I might do; I am asking based on what I am already doing. Whether it is advocating for our youth through “Celebrate the Child” or working to improve our local quality of life through the Tourism Commission and Habitat for Humanity, I have always believed in being a “boots on the ground” leader. I understand the complexities of our district because I am active in our schools, our community organizations, and our local committees every single day. I see where we are succeeding and, more importantly, where we need a stronger voice on the fiscal court to ensure our resources are being used effectively.
My husband’s career as an Army pilot and our daughters’ paths, one currently serving in the Navy and the other a sophomore in JROTC, have reinforced my commitment to integrity and hard work. I want to bring that same level of dedication to the magistrate’s office. I am focused on fiscal responsibility, transparent communication, and creating an environment where our local businesses can grow and our children have every opportunity to succeed right here at home.
I am running because I care about the legacy we are leaving for the next generation. People should vote for me because I offer a perspective that is both compassionate and disciplined. I am ready to listen to your concerns, tackle our challenges head-on, and work tirelessly for the 5th District. I would be honored to have your support and your vote on May 19.
