Jay Ross Jarvis
My name is Jay Ross Jarvis, and I am proud to be running for Magistrate of Ohio County’s 2nd District.
Who am I?
I am an 11th-generation Ohio Countian. I have a strong background in agriculture, construction, and business. I grew up in Beaver Dam, graduating from Ohio County Public Schools. Like many of you, my life has been spent right here. Attending local events, building friendships, and calling Ohio County home.
Why am I running?
I want to be a strong and considerate voice for the people of my district and for the people of Ohio County. I am running to make sure our county remains safe, strong, and full of opportunities. I will work to ensure Ohio County is a place where people want to stay, raise their families, and invest their futures. I want to create accessibility to the needs of Ohio Countians, to be an effective, fair, and listening leader to the people of the 2nd District and Ohio County as a whole.
My Vision:
My vision is centered on the people of District 2 and Ohio County. Focused on service, I want to be a representative who is accessible, responsive, and committed to advancing the quality of life for all Ohio Countians.
My Qualifications:
– I am guided by strong Christian morals, Conservative values, and business ethics established in fairness and responsibility.
-I am a Director on the board for The Ohio County Chamber of Commerce.
– I hold degrees from Owensboro Community & Technical College, Western Kentucky University, and Kentucky Wesleyan College, all in Business Administration.
– I have a strong business background and deep knowledge of business strategy, management, economics, and infrastructure development and improvements.
– I am a regular attendee of Living Faith Baptist Church.
My vision as magistrate is simple: to be a leader based on common sense, grounded by conservative values, focused on service, and accessible to all. Advancing the quality of life for all Ohio Countians is my top priority. As your next magistrate, we can work together to grow Ohio County and protect its values.
