UTICA, Ky. — Anthony “Yankee” Embry, 58, passed away April 8, 2026, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born Feb. 17, 1968, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Orville and Edna Buck Embry.
Yankee was a former member of the Grim Reapers Motorcycle Club for over eight years. He loved riding motorcycles and going junking. He loved his friends and spending time with them. He was selfless and was always doing for others.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie Embry and Joe Embry; sister, Sharon Pharis; and nephew, Shane Rich.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Fred (Teresa) Embry and Terry (Lauri) Embry; sister, Rebecca Shouse; sister-in-law, Jeanne Embry; and nieces and nephews, Willie Embry, J.J. Embry, Jason Embry, Mark Baize, Eric Sapp, Chris Embry, Shane Myers, Brian Myers, Amy Colton, Samantha Miller, Christy Baize, April Roberts, Jessica Gill, Raven Marr, Keisha Embry and Angela Kelly.
Services will be held Sunday, April 12, at 2 p.m. with Bro. Paul Winkler officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, and again on Sunday from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Morgantown.
