HARTFORD, Ky. — Thomas Rondey Coy, 74, of Hartford, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026, at his home. He was born Wednesday, Jan. 9, 1952, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late William Henry Coy and Ethel Zigler Coy.
He was a retired boilermaker.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by nine siblings, Carl Coy, Frank Coy, Darrell Coy, Nora Mae Schultz, Nancy Calloway, John Coy, Dave Coy, Charles Coy, and Danny Kaye Coy.
Survivors include, his companion, Robin Smith, of Hartford; son, Thomas (Melinda) Coy, of Evansville, Indiana; children-at-heart, Barry (Jacquline) Cooper, of Cromwell, Kentucky, and Kevin Baize, of Hartford; siblings, Emma Roach, of Fordsville, Kentucky, Paul Coy, of Horse Branch, Kentucky, Cindy (Alan) Leftwich, of Hartford, Patricia (Bill), of Indiana; several grandchildren; as well several nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
