BEAVER DAM, Ky. — James L. “JL” Taylor, 83, of Beaver Dam, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at his residence. He was born Oct. 17, 1942, in Beaver Dam to the late Leonard Maxwell Taylor and Norma Miller Taylor.
Jim retired from Youngs Sawmill.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Wise.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brother, Septtimous “Tim” (Deborah) Taylor; sister, Debra Taylor Bratcher, of Owensboro, Kentucky; as well as nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
No services will be held. However, the family requests cheering for your favorite basketball team in his memory.
