McHENRY, Ky. — Willis Fields, 52, of McHenry, passed away Feb. 24, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky, on April 29, 1973, to Bobby Fields and Betty Easterling Maddox.

Willis loved hunting and fishing and was a great cook. He had the biggest heart and was always a call away to anyone in need of his help.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Fields; paternal grandparents, Ted and Mary Fields; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Manota Easterling; and grandson, Kaiden Ashby.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Bobby Ashby (Cheyenne), Willis Tyler Fields, Jessica Fields and Haley Burden; grandchildren, Gabby Ashby, Harlen Ashby, Chevy Ashby, Mia Grubbs, Hunter Grubbs, Malcolm Clark, Callum Clark, Angelina Garcia, Chelsea Citahua, Brody Boarman, and Jordan Boarman; mother, Betty Maddox; brothers, Scottie Fields (Amanda), Jeffrey Fields (Anna), and Roger Fields; sister, Darlene Rojas (Ricardo); and nieces and nephews, Keanna Fields, Brooklyn Peech, Amber Fields, Samantha Fields, Kayla Fields, Charles Raley, Megan Fields, Mary Miller, Wyatt Fields, Valentin Rojas and Sebastian Rojas.

Services will be held Friday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Render Cemetery in McHenry.
