BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Anthony Owen Jones, 67, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, formerly of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born April 20, 1958, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Arthur Jones and Cordie Mae Montgomery Rife.
Anthony was a retired truck driver and had previously been employed by Beaver Dam Furniture, R.C., I.M.I., and Taz Trucking. He had a deep love for trucking, motorcycles, and car racing, and he especially cherished time spent with friends and family.
Known for his hospitality, Anthony always enjoyed being the host for get-togethers.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Vanessa Robinson and Jeffrey Rife.
He leaves behind to cherish many precious memories, his daughter, Shanah Jones, of Beaver Dam; one granddaughter, Aliyah Jones, of Beaver Dam; his daughter-at-heart, Denise (Jody) Ashby, of Utica, Kentucky, and four siblings, Bernestine Jones, of Beaver Dam, Kimberly (Joseph) Townsend, of Indianapolis, Indiana, David (Julie) Rife, of Morgantown, Kentucky, and Jennifer Rife of Beaver Dam.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bishop Joseph Taylor and Bishop Morene Taylor officiating. Friends may visit with Anthony’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Anthony’s cremated remains will be buried privately at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
