ORiginal Story
BEAVER DAM, Ky. — The Beaver Dam Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying two persons of interest wanted for questioning in a theft investigation.
According to the BDPD, around 1 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2026, two people were walking in the 300 block of North Madison St. in Beaver Dam. One of the people wore a camouflage jacket and a ski mask, while the other was wearing a black hoodie.
The person in the black hoodie ran up onto the porch of the residence and covered the Ring camera with his hand, but not before showing his face. He is a young man with a beard.
A small amount of money was taken from an unlocked car at this residence, but it is unclear if these two people are involved. The resident confronted the two after receiving the Ring camera notification. Once confronted, the two people separated, running off towards West 4th St.
If anyone has any information on the two people or can identify the one in the video, contact the BDPD at 270-274-7106.
The BDPD also reminds residents to remember to lock their vehicles.
