MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Phillip Wayne Morris, 62, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2025. He was born on Jan. 2, 1963, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Wendell C. Morris and Lula Belle Gilstrap Morris.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dewey and Alma Gilstrap; paternal grandparents, Bertha and Wavy Morris as well as two siblings, Terry Morris and Janice Morris.
Survivors include, his wife, Kim Morris, of Owensboro, Kentucky; two stepchildren, Allen Veach, of Owensboro, and Delores (Freddie) Neighbors, of Morgantown; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four siblings, Donald Morris, of Drakesboro, Kentucky, Betsy Morris, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Patricia Stevens, of Morgantown, and Waymon (Traci) Morris, of Beaver Dam; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
