CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Phyllis Renee Igleheart, 60, of Centertown, earned her heavenly reward on March 17, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born in Hartford, Kentucky, on April 23, 1964, to Roy and Linda White Geary.
Phyllis was a retired teacher from McLean County Public Schools. She loved sewing, especially quilting, and crafting of all kinds. She loved traveling and going to the beach. Taking motorcycle rides with her husband was time well spent. Phyllis loved her family and friends and spending time with them brought her so much joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Rex and Margaret Ann Igleheart, and brothers-in-law, David Michael Tooley and Jonathan Lee Igleheart.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 32 years, Joel Igleheart; two sons, Michael Chase (Nicole) McKeown and Jonathan Cecil Igleheart; one granddaughter; parents, Roy and Linda White Geary; sister, Tammy Tooley; brothers-in-law, Garry (Janie) Igleheart and Dudley (Karen) Igleheart; her beloved fur companion, Rocket; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held Friday, March 21, at 12 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, with Bro. Marty Bowlds officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, March 20, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery near Centertown.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Helping Hands. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
