FORDSVILLE, Ky. — Conley Raymond Huff, 91, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 8, 2025. He was born Jan. 31, 1934, in Fordsville, to the late Otto Huff and Violet Lewis.

He passed peacefully with the love of his life Doris Marie (Matthews) by his side, holding his hand, and telling him that she would be okay. Married in 1957, together they have shared a life of love and happiness. He was of the Baptist faith and read his bible faithfully along with western novels.

He worked for 23 years at Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana, before moving back home to County Line Road in Fordsville in 1975, then working for TVA until retiring in 1993. He then spent his days leisurely doing the numerous things he enjoyed. He especially loved spending time with his family, whom he loved so very much.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers John Huff and Jim Huff and nephew Bill Huff.

The legacy he leaves behind temporarily is his wife of 67 years, Doris Huff; children Frank (Ann) Huff, Jim Huff, Darla (Kent) Porter, Dana Rearden, Jason (Stephanie) Huff; and 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Raymond’s life will be honored and celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville with burial to follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pattiville, Kentucky. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
