BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Nancy Evans Brown, 76, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, with her family by her side at her home. She was born Tuesday, April 27, 1948, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Ules Evans and Edna Vie Stewart Evans.
Nancy was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lendale Ray Brown; two daughters, Letta Kaye Brown and Linda Fay Brown; four sisters, Louise Filback Young, Vera C. Filback, Mary Filback, and Gladys Tichenor; and two brothers, Nelson B. Evans and Eunice “Boonie” Evans.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Timmie Ray Brown (Sandy), of Corpus Christi, Texas, Debbie Kay Brown, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Mary Ruth Brown, of Beaver Dam; four grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Starla (Russell) Ball, Christina (Phillip) Grafton, and Filicia (Jeremiah) Renfrow; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Floy Geary, of Horse Branch, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Dave Fuqua officiating. Burial will follow in Centertown Cemetery. Friends may visit with Nancy’s family from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
